Job Function: Coordinate and review the formulation and finalization of bids as required in coordination with the Proposal Manager and Project Management Staff.
Job Description:
- Administer and supervise every stage of bid preparation including but not limited to monitoring, administration, and compliance.
- Coordinate with Project Management staff to ensure proper collection of detail relevant to bid management.
- Develop and prepare regular reports on the status of bids.
- Determine the priorities, goals and objectives of work functions assigned.
- Assign job numbers and maintain computer database for job detail and perform basic bookkeeping work.
- Review operating practices and procedures to determine whether improvements can be made in areas such as workflow or reporting procedures.
- Provide support to Project Managers.
- Understand and follow all procedures for placing bids.
- Ensure that bids are reviewed for accuracy and placed at the appointed time as assigned by client request.
- Assist with contract procedures and compliance.
- Assist with the Performance of commonly used contracting methods and contract types related to pre-award, post-award and or price/cost analysis and market conditions to evaluate bid responsiveness, contractor responsibility and contractor performance.
- Plan and carry out recurring work using established procedures, conferring with the supervisor or higher-level specialists as necessary on technical problems.
- Send subcontractor pre-qualification packages to potential subcontractors.
- Approve subcontractors for future use by verifying their insurance, safety records, and signature of the contract.

Experience Required:
- 2+ years of experience in contracts management.
Education:
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) Required
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
Computer Skills:
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
