Field Safety Coordinator

Job Function: Review, evaluate, and analyze work environments while maintaining training verifications and DOT requirements. May conduct inspections and enforce adherence to laws and regulations governing the health and safety of individuals.

 Job Description:

  • Provide new employee health and safety orientations and develop materials for these presentations.
  • Maintain credential verification for employees.
  • Conduct safety training or education programs and demonstrate the use of safety equipment.
  • Provide coaching opportunities to employees where needed/warranted and engage employees in the hazard observation program.
  • Inspect specified areas to ensure the presence of fire prevention equipment, safety equipment, or first-aid supplies.
  • Recommend measures to help protect workers from potentially hazardous work methods, processes, or materials.
  • Investigate events to identify causes or to determine how such events might be prevented in the future.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience Required: 5+ years

Education: High School Diploma or GED: Required

Certifications:

  • OSHA 30 (minimum requirement)
  • Operator Qualification Evaluator (preferred)

Computer/General Skills:

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Projects, Skype for Business, Teams, etc.)

Other Requirements:

  • Valid Driver’s License
